Men of the Battle of Britain

A third edition of Men of the Battle of Britain by Kenneth G Wynn was published in July 2015. The book first appeared in 1989 and contains biographical material on all the Allied aircrew known to have taken part in the Battle of Britain.

The rights to the book were acquired by the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust in 2010 and over the following five years Geoff led a team of researchers producing the new edition.

He continued in this role leading to the publication of a supplementary volume in 2020. This included writing two new entries for pilots added to the Battle of Britain list by Air Historical Branch (RAF). Many entries now contain considerable detail on the social backgrounds and civilian careers of the individuals, as well as other members of the families with military service.

Both are published by Frontline Books in Association with the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust.
